Well, I suppose I’ve finally got a blog up and running. I suppose it remains to be seen how up-to-date this is kept, or indeed what sort of thing I end up feeling moved to post here. Most likely it will be some mix of things going on in my life, spam issues du jour, political rants, and random links to miscellaneous web floatings. Hopefully it’ll mostly be somewhat original content, or at least be somewhat to someone out there. It’s plausible I’ll also use this as a mechanism for tracking generally things I do to my computers. For example, after finally figuring out how to do some random sysadmin task, log it here so that knowledge isn’t lost, and that when I then need to repeat that task later, I can cull the archive to find the info. Many’s the time in the past I’ve wished I had a log for this. Sharing the info via the web might also prove useful for others who run into the same problems I do.
