I also have experience with free-diving from my college days. I once held my breath for 4 minutes and two seconds. Once, while training as a lifeguard I swam laps without breathing until I passed out, so that I could know my limits.

Google pages being used massively to host link spammers. Clearly google’s captcha has either been broken, or it’s economic to mechanical turk it.
Handy tip for windows remote desktop users…
When you’re remote-desktopped into a (possibly headless) windows machine, Windows helpfully doesn’t include “shutdown” or “restart” options on the start menu. But they’re still there in the task manager. So CTRL-SHIFT-ESC and shutdown to your heart’s content.
